Data Deletion Instructions

Trainbay (operated by ZX Consulting LLC) integrates with Meta Platforms — WhatsApp Business Cloud API, Instagram Graph API, and Facebook Login for Business — so that personal trainers can receive and reply to leads from WhatsApp and Instagram inside Trainbay. This page explains how to request deletion of any data associated with those integrations, and of your Trainbay data in general.

If you are a trainer (account holder)

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data — your contacts, clients, conversations (including WhatsApp and Instagram threads), routines, diets, and payment records — from your account's Danger Zone setting inside the app, or by emailing contact@trainbay.app from the address on your account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We process these requests within 30 days.

If you contacted a trainer via WhatsApp or Instagram

If you messaged, commented, or replied to a trainer's story and do not have a Trainbay account yourself, your data (name, phone number or Instagram handle, and message history) is stored on behalf of that trainer. You can ask the trainer directly to delete it, or email contact@trainbay.app with the phone number or Instagram handle you used, and we will delete the corresponding record within 30 days.

If you connected a WhatsApp or Instagram Business account

If you are a trainer who connected your WhatsApp Business number or Instagram Business account to Trainbay, you can revoke that access at any time from Meta Business Suite (Settings → Business Integrations), or from your Instagram account settings (Apps and Websites → Facebook). When you do, Trainbay receives an automated notification from Meta and stops receiving new messages for that account immediately. We delete the Meta account ID and associated conversation data tied to that connection within 30 days. You can also speed this up, or request deletion of any other data, by emailing contact@trainbay.app.
